BattleFleet 1939 Campaigns, Missions and Scenarios

BattleFleet 1939 combined four navy campaigns with a large set of standalone missions and death-match and Free Hunt scenarios. This page catalogues them by side and objective type.

BattleFleet 1939 shipped with four strategy campaigns, a set of standalone missions, and separate death-match and Free Hunt scenario sets, playable as the United States Navy, the Kriegsmarine, the Royal Navy or the Imperial Japanese Navy. Missions ranged across both the Atlantic and Pacific theatres and covered objective types described in the BattleFleet 1939 manual — conquering ports, defending them, destroying a set number of enemy ships, escorting a convoy or eliminating an entire enemy force.

The Imperial Japan Navy campaign is recorded elsewhere on the site at 7 missions rather than 9; the site's version history shows the campaign was extended by two new missions in the October 2003 (v1.75) update, which accounts for the difference between the earlier and later figures.

Standalone Missions

Each standalone mission carried a single named objective type — Conquer, Defend, Destroy Class or Escort.
